Walking in Memphis and Researching CLONING ELVIS

One of the most fun parts of writing is doing the research for the story.

As you might imagine, writing a story titled Cloning Elvis involved quite a bit of research.

Last summer that research led me to Elvis’s hometown of Memphis, Tennessee.

Obviously I needed to visit Graceland and Sun Studio to get a real sense of Elvis for my book.

But my trip to Memphis provided me a much larger experience.

I recently took the time document all that in this music video I made to Marc Cohn’s “Walking in Memphis.”
